Sofia Vergara said, “Yes,” to hunky beau Joe Manganiello’s marriage proposal – but only after her son Manolo, 22, gave his blessing, sources said.
Now, insiders claim the happy couple’s not only talking about a quickie wedding, but even having a baby by surrogate!
“Usually, it’s the children who ask their parents for their blessing in marriage,” said a pal of the “Modern Family” beauty, 42. “But in Sofia’s case, it was the other way around. “She trusts her son Mano lo’s judgment implicitly – and when her son gave Joe the big thumbs-up, it was all systems go!”
Indeed, as The National ENQUIRER reported in January 2013, Sofia’s protective son urged her not to rush into marrying her then-fiancé, trust funder Nick Loeb, after a bar brawl.
