KATIE HOLMES, grim-faced every time daughter SURI traipses off for visitations with daddy TOM CRUISE, was out shopping BevHills with Baby Girl when a gushy gal at an ice cream shop cooed about Suri’s “cute” red Christmas outfit!
“Why, thank you, ma’am,” Suri cooed back.
Beaming, the woman told Katie: “You have such a well-mannered child – not like most here in Beverly Hills!” Smiling, Katie said, “Well … we live in Calabasas.”
Added Suri helpfully: “My daddy lives in Beverly Hills, though!” The woman, recognizing the pair, got gossipy, asking Suri, “How is Tom, by the way?” Snipped Katie, “That’s enough, Suri!” – and waltzed her out of the joint!
