Michael Jackson’s eldest son seems to be suffering from vitiligo, the same disfiguring skin disorder that afflicted the late pop superstar.
As these exclusive National ENQUIRER photos show, 17-year-old Prince Michael – pictured leaving a martial arts class in Beverly Hills – has white patches on his arm. “The blotches on his skin were clearly visible, but he seems to be coping with it,” said an insider.
Experts say the disorder can be hereditary. It causes loss of color, resulting in irregular white patches. Prince’s white patches “appear to be vitiligo, which can run in families and more often strikes darker-skinned people,” said dermatologist Dr. Jerome Litt, author of “Your Skin From A to Z,” who has not treated Jackson. “There’s no way to tell how much pigment a person will lose, but it can spread over the entire body.”
