According to legal documents obtained by The National ENQUIRER, her beau – Doyle Bramhall II – owed and was ordered to pay his ex-wife thousands of dollars in back child support.
The “Bridget Jones’s Diary” star, 45, met Bramhall, a rock guitarist, in the 1990s when they were students at the University of Texas at Austin. They reconnected in 2012, and sparks flew.
As The ENQUIRER has reported, Bramhall beat a heroin addiction, but now he faces problems with his ex, Susannah Melvoin, a singer who once toured with Prince.
Their 12-year marriage ended in 2010. They have two children – India, 12, and Elle, 9.
