ROBIN WILLIAMS’ tortured, final minutes came before the brilliant but flawed superstar quietly said a prayer and took his life.
His shocking death on August 11 rocked Hollywood and the world – and The National ENQUIRER can reveal how the 63-year-old actor died inside his northern California home.
A friend told The ENQUIRER: “Robin was once worth $50 million and had an amazing showbiz career, but he was a tortured soul – the ultimate tortured genius.
“While he had finally found love with wife Susan and loved his children, he obviously couldn’t go on. The demons that he battled so long had finally beaten him.
“In the end, he decided enough was enough. Knowing Robin, he must have said a prayer before he killed himself.”
But, revealed a close confidant, he recently disclosed he had “serious money troubles and was worried about his financial security.
