The country superstar thinks having a baby right now would clip her booming career – and he’s ready to shoot and score ASAP!
“Carrie and Mike have a happy marriage, but the baby issue is becoming a big bone of contention between them,” a close source told The ENQUIRER. “If he had his way, Carrie would be pregnant tomorrow, but she keeps insisting now isn’t the right time.
“Carrie says she can’t take a year off from singing and still stay red-hot. They’re poles apart and at the point where they almost have to agree to disagree.”
The “Two Black Cadillacs” songbird, who turned 30 in March, has seen her career skyrocket since winning “American Idol” in 2005.
