WORLD War III has erupted between ASHLEE SIMPSON and ex-hubby PETE WENTZ over the blonde beauty’s hard partying, sources say.
Rocker Pete, 33, believes Ashlee, 28, is spiraling out of control, and he’s considering fighting for primary custody of their 4-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli, the sources add.
It’s a dramatic role reversal for the once friendly couple whose nearly three-year marriage ended in 2011 when Ashlee – Jessica Simpson’s little sister – filed for divorce over Pete’s raging drug habit.
“ASHLEE HAS BEEN DRINKING LIKE a fish, and she’s a fixture on the club and house-party scene,” said an insider.
Meanwhile, Pete seems to have gotten his life in order. His band, Fall Out Boy, has reunited with a new album coming out and a tour on the docket, and he’s settled into a relationship with model Meagan Camper.
