Headed for LaLa Land, “Celebrity Apprentice” star GARY BUSEY – aka My Favorite Wacko – boarded a plane in New Orleans and immediately insisted on “inspecting” the cockpit to make sure it was safe.
“Hey, it’s not like I don’t trust you guys,” he explained to the pilots, “but you know, I once played BUDDY HOLLY, the rock star, and he was killed in a plane crash!”
After giving the cockpit an “expert” once-over, Inspector Busey walked through the plane making sure there weren’t any “cracks” – and finally sat down in his first-class seat, happily braying to fellow fliers that he’d personally checked the aircraft and everything was “A-OK.”
On Cloud Nine, the Wizard of Odd serenaded First Class with Buddy Holly hits until takeoff, then delighted everyone by finally shutting up and dozing off!
