Burt had been coping with the flu that’s been kicking ass nationwide but Smokey ain’t no bandit anymore.
He’ll be 77 next month and has suffered from a variety of ailments over the years.
Burt's rep confirmed the aging superstar battled the nasty bug at home but then things took a turn for the worst
Burt was quickly admitted to the Florida hospital but was moved to the ICU earlier today after docs discovered he was “severely dehydrated."
