The HOBBIT’s SIR IAN MCKELLEN’s shocking admission – he’s been battling cancer for the past six years!
McKellen, 73, who won a new legion of fans with his portrayals of Magneto in the X-Men flicks and Gandalf in the Tolkien“Lord of the Rings” saga admitted his battle to media.
Not has been diagnosed with the potentially life ending disease but he hasn’t even treated it!
“You do gulp when you hear the news. It’s like when you go for an HIV test, you go, ‘Argh, is this the end of the road?’” McKellen said.
“They say you have cancer of the prostate and then that you can have it zapped.
“You can have it snipped but you are not a candidate for that. You are ‘waitful watching’.
