After an egregious ear assault by a fellow traveler, MATT LAUER got lucky – with NATALIE MORALES.
The Today Show kingpin had been flying home from the Golden Globes where he was stuck with an untenable seatmate, Page Six’s Richard Johnson reported.
Matt was originally paired with a grieving on the United airlines flight from LAX who was babbling on and on about an all day funeral
“(Matt) asked a flight attendant, ‘Is this a full flight?’ He just wanted to get away from this weird guy and find a seat where he could sleep,” a fellow passenger tattled.
Nearby another heard overheard Lauer, offering to switch.
Matt ended up next to his perky costar Natalie who was already zonked out.
“He sat down next to Natalie, put a blanket over his head and slept the whole way.”
