Courteney Cox and fiancé Johnny McDaid’s wedding plans could be derailed by a growing rift over their future in-laws, said pals.
The former “Friends” star, 50, began dating the rocker, 38, just a year ago.
They plan to wed in early 2015.
But an insider revealed: “Courteney’s family think she’s moving way too fast with Johnny and have flat-out told her to slow things down. He’s gotten wind that they’re wary about him, and it’s put his guard up big time.”
Adding to the tension, the Snow Patrol frontman is extremely disappointed by Courteney’s reluctance to spend more time in his native Ireland.
The insider added: “Johnny has hardly seen his family since hooking up with Courteney and they’re getting really annoyed.”
Another problem is the Arquette clan, who are involved in Courteney’s life because of daughter Coco.
