Weight loss expert Richard Simmons is obsessed with celebrity suicides, sources told The National ENQUIRER – and friends are terrified he could take his own life.
Richard hasn’t been seen in public since February, and one concerned pal told The ENQUIRER she’s concerned he might resort to “medication-swapping, trying to find the right medication. If he was prescribed something that really didn’t work, it might give him suicidal thoughts.
“If his depression worsened with the meds I’m afraid he might really start contemplating leaving the planet.”
While Richard’s rep denied he was on antidepressants or “clinically depressed,” the rep told The ENQUIRER: “He’s sad, yes. He is not seeing a psychiatrist because he doesn’t need to.”
