More than six years after Travis Alexander was found murdered, his ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias may be close to winning her freedom thanks to a shocking twist in the case.
The accused murderess’ lawyers have accused a detective of destroying evidence that Alexander visited child porn sites, which they say should overturn her murder conviction.
“If these allegations are true, it’s a serious blow to the State and could affect the integrity of the guilty verdict,” lawyer Beth Karas who covewrs the trial told RadarOnline.com.
“Even if the judge does not toss the murder conviction, the defense argues the death penalty should be taken off table because of the ‘clear prosecutorial misconduct.’”
