A heartbroken Marie Osmond is reeling after the sudden death of a young family member.
Brother Jay Osmond’s seven-year-old granddaughter London Mortensen was tragically killed at her Arizona home Sept. 18 when a moving trailer door fell and crushed her.
This latest heartache renewed the 55-year-old entertainer’s grief over the loss of her own son Michael four years ago!
“When Marie heard about it, she was devastated,” a family insider said. “All those horrible memories of what happened came flooding back!”
As The ENQUIRER previously reported, Marie’s son Michael committed suicide in February 2010 at the age of 18.
“The shocking thing is that London’s family was in the middle of a move to Utah so they could be close to the rest of the family,” added the source.
