If she’s slapped with the death penalty, Jodi Arias is counting on the public to pay for her appeals, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
Insiders say she’s already raised $30,000 from admirers for her defense– a cost that the State of Arizona cannot cover by law. Her goal is to raise $250,000 to pay “a retainer for an attorney for her appeals,” a source close to Arias said.
The convicted killer, whose parents will soon file for bankruptcy and can’t help her financially, is now in the midst of a sentencing hearing that will determine her fate.
The insider revealed her crass fundraising plan includes the sale of “Jodi Bands” or bracelets, “her artwork and whatever else she can find to raise money.”
