Ricki Lake’s marriage blew up when, sources claim, her husband demanded an open relationship, The National ENQUIRER can exclusively reveal.
The two are now living apart, and according to their pre-nup, Ricki, 46, will have to shell out just $150,000 to divorce second hubby Christian Evans, a jewelry designer.
The couple wed in April 2012, and sources say trouble began brewing shortly before Ricki’s birthday on Sept. 21 when Christian, 43, took an unexpected trip to the Spanish party island of Ibiza.
“He called her to say he was staying a few more days,” said an insider. When Ricki told him that he had to come back, he demanded an ‘open marriage.’ She freaked out. It was like he was basically telling her he wanted to sleep around!”
By mid-October, Ricki had kicked him out of their Marina del Rey, Calif., condo, and consulted a divorce attorney, sources say.
