Five years after the death of “Dirty Dancing” star Patrick Swayze, The National ENQUIRER has learned that his widow Lisa Niemi is struggling to defuse a bitter family feud.
But sources say she’s fanned the flames by threatening to sell the ranch where the actor’s ashes are scattered.
Lisa – who married wealthy jeweler Albert DePrisco in May – posted on her blog Sept. 14: “Today is the fifth anniversary of Patrick’s death. I keep thinking that I’ll pass these anniversaries with positive feelings, and flying colors, but it just hasn’t worked out that way.”
“Seems like I’m missing everyone this anniversary. And the feelings are tender, tearful, and achingly loving for all of them.”Despite her touching tribute, “Lisa only fueled more resentment, noting on her blog that she was leaving on a cruise with her new husband,” a close source told The ENQUIRER.
