The poppy is also a flower except when it’s sprinkled on noodles in an attempt to hook customers – cops.

The owner of a Chinese noodle restaurant copped a plea, admitting to adding opium to their meals after a diner was busted.

Law enforcement said Liu Juyou, 26, was arrested when a  standard urine test given during a drunken driving test tested positive for opium use and he spent 15 days behind bars, UPI reported.

Family members helped test out Liu’s defense his theory that he had been served noodles laced with the narcotic.

They went to the restaurant and tested their own urine after dining. They told cops they discovered they had tested positive for opium.

The owner of the eatery, identified only as Zhang, by police was arrested and questioned.
