Z sa Zsa Gabor joked that Joan Rivers “deserved” to die for the nasty zingers she hurled over the years, The National ENQUIRER has learned!
The ailing star, 97, was stunned to learn that Joan, 81, passed away, according to her husband Prince Frédéric von Anhalt. But he claims Zsa Zsa was happy to see Joan go after all the putdowns she dealt out during her career.
“Zsa Zsa was watching TV when Joan died, and asked what happened. I told her, ‘I’m sorry, but she passed away,’” Frédéric, 71, told The ENQUIRER.
“She said, ‘She badmouthed us all. She deserved it. She’s gone and I’m still here!’ I thought that was sad but funny.”
Joan poked fun at Zsa Zsa, and once bought a gag about the Hungarian-born beauty from another comedian.
