The New York City medical examiner’s office has completed its autopsy of JOAN RIVERS as the investigation into her death heated up.
Julie Bolcer, spokeswoman for the ME’s office said that thee “cause and manner” of Rivers’ death will now be determined after additional studies.
The initial finding was inconclusive.
State Health Department officials had already announced their own probe into the death of Rivers, 81.
As the ENQUIRER reported previously Rivers was rushed to The Mount Sinai Hospital on Aug. 28 after going into cardiac and respiratory arrest at the Yorkville Endoscopy Center on E. 93rd St.
Medical experts told The EQUIRER earlier that they suspected the funny gal may have been given a lethal dose of Propofyl – the same anesthetic that in a large dose killed Michael Jackson-- to undergo a seemingly simple endoscopy.
