OPRAH WINFREY has sent her lawyers to court to protect the secret diaries she doesn’t want YOU to see!
Attorneys for Oprah have refused to turn over her private journals to a motivational speaker who’s slapped her with a trademark infringement suit.
In a suit filed in 2011, Simone Kelly-Brown, CEO of Own Your Power Communications, Inc., claims that Oprah stole her phrase “Own Your Power,” according to legal documents seen by The National ENQUIRER.
In March, Kelly-Brown’s attorneys asked the court to “compel production of Ms. Winfrey’s personal, professional journal or diary entries” to determine what they might contain in connection to the case.
But Oprah’s attorneys insisted that wouldn’t happen.
“Ms. Winfrey examined her journals and there is nothing relevant,” her legal team announced.
