The love story of Bogie and Bacall goes on!
Hollywood screen legend Lauren Bacall went to her death waiting to be reunited with the great love of her life – first husband and frequent movie co-star Humphrey Bogart.
“They were soul mates,” a friend said after the 89-year-old actress died peacefully at her New York City home Aug. 12 following a stroke.
“Bogie and Bacall will finally be together again!”
The former model was just 19 when she was cast opposite Bogart in 1944’s “To Have and Have Not.” They wed a year later and went on to re-team in “The Big Sleep,” “Dark Passage” and “Key Largo.”
