Cops say Stephen Simpson went into a jealous rage at his estranged spouse's apartment in Michigan Monday night.
According to WWMT, Simpson, 45, who is J-Hud’s half brother, has a long history of domestic violence. Police claim he knifed his victim several times, including in the face, before they fled to seek help.
Simpson was already on probation after being arrested multiple times in the past – the most recentl for assaulting his wife on Super Bowl Sunday.
Officers are unsure whether Simpson's wife or her lover was the intended target.
