Space Ace John Glenn Escapes Death

America's ace of space, JOHN GLENN, 92, has emergency heart surgery.

The first American to successfully orbit the Earth and former U.S. senator American to orbit the Earth, underwent successful heart surgery last month, The ENQUIRER learned.

The former Marine Corps pilot who made, made history when he was launched into orbit on February 20, 1962 is the last surviving member of "Mercury 7" astronauts is said to be doing “A-OK.”

Glenn, 92, had a heart valve replaced at Cleveland Clinic, according to Hank Wilson, director of communications at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at Ohio State University.
