She personally shops at a 99-cent store in West Hollywood, and “stocks the maid’s quarters with bargain-brand toilet paper, soap and the like because she figures that if she sends the staff out shopping, they’ll come back with ‘the good stuff,’ ” says a friend.

“She likes the feel of shopping for a bargain, but it’s for the help, not her.”

But when sent out to shop for Madame, they’re ordered to bring back nothing but the best!
