Sources tell The ENQUIRER that Oscar-winner Jodie’s new bride doesn’t want the “Braveheart” actor to be part of their new life together – even though Mel and Jodie have been close pals for years. And the battle over Mel is causing a huge rift in the couple’s union.
“Alexandra met Mel at a function in Malibu years ago, and she didn’t like the way he was preaching with a holier-than-thou attitude,” a friend explained.
Alexandra is also said to be repulsed by the bigoted remarks he spewed during a 2006 DUI arrest and, later, in 2010, by the domestic abuse allegations leveled against him by his former girlfriend and baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva.
