
Frank Scorcese, the 39-year-old nephew of director Martin Scorsese was busted on drug charges along with two others in New York yesterday.
According to sources in law enforcement, Scorcese was arrested in Staten Island for selling heroin to an undercover cop on three separate occasions, and was busted directly after making the third buy.
Scorcese is a resident of Eltingville, in Staten Island, where he works at an autobody shop, whose owners - John Santillo, 55, and wife, Lori Santillo, 57 – were also arrested in the incident.
When police executed a search warrant at the Santillos’ home on Wednesday morning, they seized heroin, five shotguns, a .22-caliber pistol, a 9mm pistol and a rifle, according to sources.
Scorsese was charged with criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance. The Santillos will likely face drug and weapons charges.
