TONGUE SLIPPAGE DEPT.: JESSICA SIMPSON and close galpal CACEE COBB, her former assistant, were shopping at Target in West Hollywood when a gaggle of excited gals approached and “told Jess what big fans they are – and how surprised they were to see her shopping discount,” said a source close to the star.
“Jess said, of course she does – and actually prefers it to chi-chi Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.”
But the fun really began when the gals asked where toddler daughter Maxi and baby son Ace were – and Jess casually responded: “Oh, they’re with my husband.”
Surprised and excited, the fans started screaming stuff like: “I didn’t know you got married!... OHMIGOD, you keeping it a secret?”
