Robin Thicke is turning to an unlikely source for help in saving his marriage to estranged wife Paula Patton – his twice-divorced dad Alan Thicke!
Robin, 37, and Paula, 38, who wed nine years ago, split in late February after the stunning “baggage claim” actress got fed up with her hubby’s flirting.
An insider says the “Blurred Lines” singer “has been so desperate to win Paula back, he’s even gotten his pop to play marriage counselor. “Robin’s convinced that his smooth-talking dad – despite his own checkered romantic history – could help him win back his wife.”
Paula and Alan, who’s best known for playing Dr. Jason Seaver on the hit ’80s sitcom “Growing Pains,” have always shared a close bond, says the insider.
