Jennifer Aniston has a message for newly single Katy Perry – you dodged a bullet!
Jen reached out to the “Dark Horse” singer after hearing Katy had given crooner John Mayer the boot, possibly because she found out he was cheating on her.
If anyone knows what it feels like to be hurt by Mayer, it’s Jen – he reportedly dumped her by text message in 2008.
“Jen says John should come with a ‘bad for your heart’ warning,” a friend told The ENQUIRER. “John ripped her heart out when he dumped her. She really struggled getting over that, and she felt the need to reach out to Katy to give her a pat on the back and offer her a shoulder if she needed.”
Jen recruited a mutual pal, Chelsea Handler, to pass on the words of support to Katy, who’s currently in Australia on a promotional visit in preparation for her upcoming world tour.
