ALZHEIMER’s-stricken Glen Campbell is scheduled to be honored at a benefit for the mind-wasting disease at the end of March – but friends and relatives wonder whether he will be able to attend and fear he may have only weeks to live!
Now in the brutal phase of the heartbreaking disease, the 77-year-old continues to struggle with Alzheimer’s.
“He needs help walking and has to be reminded to eat,” revealed a close source. “We were warned by doctors that this is the course Alzheimer’s takes, still, it’s so sad when it happens.”
In preparation for the “Rhinestone Cowboy” singer’s final days, his wife, Kim, 54, sold their Mediterranean-style house in Malibu, Calif., in mid-December and moved the singing legend to Nashville, Tenn.
