MOODY BLUES band member Graeme Edge was hoping for a “Night in White Satin” when he wined and dined a college coed, but the dream date turned into a nightmare for the aging rocker!
The 72-year-old drummer and songwriter for the ’70s rock group had high hopes when he picked up Monica Mary Mehanny, 21 – a student at the University of Miami – and took her to dinner in August.
But the evening went sour after Graeme made “unwanted advances” toward Monica in the limousine during the ride home, she alleges in court documents filed in Manatee County, Fla.
Monica further states that she was so freaked out by the incident that she leaped from the limo to get away from Graeme and the vehicle ran over her foot as it drove off.
