Jones who starred as the space-faring hero in the 1980 “FlashGordon” was set to participatein an upcoming UK reality TV skiing competition “The Jump” when disaster struck!
Being an intergalactic dolt at times, Jones successfully completed a jump when he leapt into the air to do his trademark cry of exultation – “YEAAAH!”
He fell over, injuring his shoulder.
Jones admitted “I was so shocked when I landed (successfully)… and I went ‘Yeah!’ and raised my arms.
