Depraved Boston mobster JAMES WHITEY BULGER sentenced to die behind bars with TWO life sentences for his reign as gangster and FBI informant.
During the 1970s and ‘80s, Bulger headed the Winter Hill Gang of South Boston before receiving FBI protection after signing on to inform on his mob colleagues.
FBI Agent John Connolly Jr. tipped Bulger off ahead of an indictment in 1994, putting the crime kingpin on the run. Connolly was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the crime.
As The ENQUIRER reported previously Bulger, 84, was finally arrested in California two years ago after being on the run for decades.
