AMID a likely divorce from Catherine Zeta-Jones, MICHAEL DOUGLAS faces new heartbreak as his druggie son Cameron has been moved to a higher security prison.
The troubled 34-year-old – whose mother is Douglas’ ex-wife Diandra – has been transferred from a minimum security facility in Pennsylvania to the medium security Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Cumberland, Md.
The transfer was most likely due to “behavioral issues,” Chris Burke, a public affairs specialist with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, told The ENQUIRER.
Such issues can range from a “history of drug abuse, escape attempts, as well as disciplinary and criminal histories,” Burke added.
Now, an insider says Cameron’s woes helped fuel his father’s split from Hollywood beauty Catherine after nearly 13 years of marriage and two children, son Dylan, 13, and daughter Carys, 10.
