RICHARD GERE & his wife CAREY LOWELL have separated after 11 years of marriage.
They are planning to divorce, The NY Post reported.
As The ENQUIRER previously reported their marriage has been in trouble for some time and sources blamed Gere's "roving eye".
Gere, 64, and former Bond girl Lowell, 52, haven’t been seen together since a Hamptons screening of his Wall Street thriller “Arbitrage” last year.
Reportedly, they’ve “been spending time apart for quite some time.”
A source said it’s unclear when exactly the couple will file for divorce.
Gere had been previously married to Cindy Crawford, while Lowell’s been married twice before — to photog John Stember and actor/director Griffin Dunne.
Gere and Lowell have one child together --a son, Homer.
